INTRODUCTION
Greetings everyone! I want to formally introduce myself. My name is Ray Rogers, and I am a senior writer at The R-N-R Hour™. I want to welcome you all to Part 4 of the “As Within, So Without” series! For today’s blog post, we are going to share a spiritual practice that will help you with the negative feelings and thoughts “As Within” you may have about yourself. To make learning this spiritual practice worth your while, we guarantee that this spiritual practice will give you the mental clarity to realize your self-worth and empower you to truly see the beauty in this world “So Without”. So, let us continue our discussion of the “As Within, So Without” phrase.
DISCUSSION
You are probably curious at this point, “what is this glorious spiritual practice you speak of Ray?” This spiritual practice is simply Being Yourself. It is not the most spectacular, attractive spiritual practice for dealing with negativity, but we will once again guarantee that it is an extremely effective spiritual practice in transitioning yourself from a negative mindset to something more positive. You are also probably asking, “If it is so simple, why are we discussing this then?” This topic in the “As Within, So Without” discussion is important for one reason. There has never been a discussion about how Being Yourself (who we truly are) impacts how we feel on the inside “As Within” thus impacting our world around us “So Without”. To illustrate the importance of Being Yourself, I will share this story.
Looking back at my teenage years and early 20s, I never felt comfortable with myself. Specifically, I am referring to my life purpose. This feeling began during my time in elementary school. I can remember the lectures like it was yesterday my schoolteachers and mentors would say, “your only goal in life should be to pursue a lucrative job in corporate America.” For the most part, I accepted this message, and I did go down that path. However, as I finally obtained a job in corporate America and spent nearly a decade in it, I can honestly say that I was never truly happy following this path. To give an example of my discontent in corporate America, I always felt uncomfortable with consistently battling my coworkers for recognition from my superiors and doing whatever it took to achieve management’s goals.
The worst part of my time in corporate America was that I had to wear a mask (metaphorically speaking) to fit into the culture. This mask was so devasting to my confidence. I remember beginning to not trust myself and feeling uneasy about exhibiting any behaviors outside of that mask. I can vividly remember from wearing this corporate mask that I attracted a lot of negative people, humiliating events, and countless toxic environments. I can honestly say this life path in corporate America made me feel extremely terrible "As Within" and brought many misfortunes "So Without". To fix this problem, I did some research and meditation. The result was I discovered how I was projecting negative feelings about myself. Therefore, I was attracting these bad experiences during my time in corporate America. At this moment, I decided to leave my corporate America job to stop attracting bad experiences. I also thought to myself. It would be a great opportunity to reconnect with my true self, so I might attract more positive experiences.
Now, it did not take long for me to practice being myself. It was just a matter of accepting myself. This acceptance was easy because all of my life I was told that I was a creative and compassionate person. The day I finally accepted being my true self I started to feel safe and good about life. I know you are probably asking yourself, that sounds great Ray but what is so great about being yourself? I will say this. It provides the security you need to feel internal abundance and satisfaction "As Within" to manifest the desired outcomes "So Without" in your life. In my circumstance, I saw a huge shift in my fortune. We can take the Ace of Cups Tarot Card as a good example as to why we should be ourselves and proud. Like the Ace of Cups, being yourself will bring overall satisfaction and emotional fulfilment throughout all different areas of your life. Also, you become a real-life vessel for the divine love from the Universe. From my experience, this love will flow through you and your environment. You will receive and give love in most cases. When I took on the mantle of being myself, I never felt so much love in my heart and from everyone around me. I am still working on a new career; however, I am fully confident that being myself and proud will open a beautiful path that leads to success beyond my imagination. I know this spiritual practice sounds dreadfully simple, but it is like what I said in the title Being Yourself Is All That You Can Do and will ever have to do!
CONCLUSION
By being true to yourself, you are bringing forth a divine reality that is yours and yours only. Yes, my friends! No one can take this divine reality and its brilliant opportunity from you. This is why being yourself is such a great concept. I also want to emphasize for those looking to follow this spiritual practice. I know being yourself can be difficult to begin and accomplish. However, I want to encourage everyone. This acceptance of yourself only comes about by establishing a firm understanding of who you are as an individual.
